In 2017, I began my career in the insurance industry working under another successful State Farm Agent. I knew I wanted to continue helping people with their insurance and financial service needs, I proudly opened the doors to my own State Farm Agency in November of 2019.

I’m a family man with a wife and three wonderful children. We love hiking the northern hills, and spending time in the Sturgis community. I enjoy watching our area’s growth and seeing local small business owners supporting each other.

I have lived in South Dakota since 1975. I have a Bachelor’s in Education, a Masters in Counseling and a Masters in Educational Administration and Leadership. I recently retired after 26 years working as a Professional School Counselor. I began working in insurance this past July of 2021 after my daughter, who also works in insurance convinced me to study for the exam and start working in the field. I am currently licensed in Auto and Home insurance and am enjoying my new career working for a great agent who is helping me learn all the ropes to the field of insurance. I spend my free time with my family and enjoy working outside, riding horses and playing with our dogs. We love participating in our church weekly services and helping with church plans to help the community. We also love frequenting our local food establishments and stores.
